She was a homemaker and member of the Immanuel Baptist Church at Olney, Texas.

Survived by one son - Hubert Gray; five daughters - Mrs. Gladys Rager, Mrs. Ruby Black, Mrs. Bea Kemp, Mrs. Jessie Long, Mrs. Mamie Shumake; 19 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Her 1st marriage was about 1903 when she was 14 years old, to Henry M. Mitchell. Probably in Jasper Mo. A daughter, Ruby L. Mitchell was born 1909 in Oklahoma. Soon after that she married Claude.

One daughter unable to locate:
Ruby Mitchell Black 1910 – 1992 If anyone has any info on her please contact me, I am family and trying to get all the info together.
