Jerry L. Tipton, 57, of Malden, MO.. died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2008, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter, Mo.
Born July 28, 1950, in Malden, son of the late richard and Maggie White tipton, he was employed at Apex Asphalt Company.
On June 13, 1975, in Malden, he married Judy Sawyer, who survives.
Survivors also include two sons, Jeremy Tipton and wife, Tara, of ft. Campbell, Ky., and Jarrod Tipton, of Dexter; two daughters, Sonja Walker and husband, Scott, ofMalden and Melanie Tipton Pavy and husband, Wayne, of Risco, Mo.; three brothers, Ronnie Tipton, of Clarkton, Mo., Bill tipton, of Farmington, Mo., and Bob Tipton, of Arnold, Mo.; two sisters, Ruth Allen, of Oakville, Mo., and Naomi Nelson, of Cedar Lake, Ind., and three grandchildren, Justin Palmer, Noah Pavy and Abby Tipton.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Wayne, Leonard, Wilburn and James Tipton and two sisters, Etta Goldsmith and Lena Maddox.
Visitation was from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 19, at the Landess Funeral Home in malden.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 20, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Randy Deprow officiating.
Burial will follow in the Rosewood Cemetery, First Addition, at Malden.
