Zelma Mayo Anderson, 92, of Cincinnati, Ohio, and a former resident of Athens and Sweetwater, died Friday, March 30, 2001, at East Gate Health Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.

A native of Sweetwater, she was the daughter of the late Charles F. and Eliza Thomas Mayo and was preceded in death by her husband, Ulys G. Anderson.A member of Trinity United Methodist Church for 25 years, she taught a Sunday school class and had served as president of the WMU of the church. She also served as head resident of the women's dormitory at Tennessee Wesleyan College.

Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Eulene and Edward Maundrell of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Margaret Anderson of Erlanger, Ky.; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Monday at Trinity United Methodist Church with the Rev. Don Morris officiating. The family will receive friends at the church for one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in West View Cemetery in Sweetwater.

Pallbearers will be Terry Krummen, Steven Krummen, Greg Krummen, Adam Puff and Douglas Maundrell.

The family suggests memorials be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 396, Athens, TN 37371-0396.
