John A. Milliron was the son of George Milliron and Mary Gearhart.

He married Mary Estelle Lloyd May 26, 1892 in New Salem, Armstrong Co.

John died from terminal bronchial pneumonia & carcinoma of right lung (3 days) and metastasis to pleural & pleural effusion (10 mos.) and was buried 19 Apr 1953.

..........................held Sunday for John A. Milliron, 82, retired Dora miner and farmer who died early Friday morning in the Adrian hospital. He had been ill for nine months.

The Rev. Andorf will officiate at the services at 2 o'clock in the Mt. Carmel EUB Church at Crossroads, and burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends are being received in the Morrison Funeral Home.

A native of Armstrong County, the deceased was born May 10, 1870, a son of George and Mary Gearhart Milliron. His marriage to Mary E. Lloyd took place in 1892. He had lived in Dora the past 24 years.

Surviving are his wife, four sons and daughters, Mrs. Orra Skinner, of Polk; Mrs. Jeannette Geist, of Mayport R. D. 1, and J. Blaine and Clifton Milliron, of Porter; 14 grandchildren, 11 great- grandchildren, a brother, Frank, of Kittannning, and a sister, Mrs. Orra Bargerstock, of Punx'y.
