Jacob E. Wetzel, 203 Bridge Street, New Cumberland, died on Friday at his home. He was 73 years old.
He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, New Cumberland, of the Men's Bible Class of the Sunday School, the Boy Scout committee of the church and of the Citizens Hose Company No. 1, New Cumberland.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Laura A. Wetzel; two sons, Paul E., of New Cumberland and Donald S., Camp Hill; two brothers, Roy, Coatsville, and James, Flemington, N.J.; three sisters, Miss Bertha Wetzel, Carlisle; Mrs. Pearl Gottshall and MRS. (sic) Hazel Wonders, both of Boiling Springs, and three grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow in the Jesse H. Stone Funeral Home, 408 Third Street, New Cumberland. The Rev. Ralph C. Sloop, pastor of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in New Cumberland, will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, near Churchtown. There will be no viewing.
