This marker was purchased in 2013. The grave has been unmarked for at least 42 years except with a CSA marker. The dates may not be exactly right but they are close. I have no record of Noah's birth and used census reports to determine age. Each census has him as a different age, so I used 1815 as his birth and his death may be incorrect as well. I felt some marker as a tribute to these people had been absent long enough. I added the marker with the intention of honoring these people and I believe no birthday or death date is more than 3 years off on any of the people mentioned on the marker. For Mary E.S. Ellis the S stand for her maiden name. It is either Strattin or Stratton. Martha Ann Margaret has been listed occasionally as having been born in 1841. The more authoritative records have it as 1843. Cemetery records do not reflect Noah being buried here but his wife and children are and he bought the plot so most likely, this is the place.
