He was born June 15, 1918 in Weatherford. He died Saturday evening at Flow Memorial Hospital.
He married Alma Lois Cotner in Denton, August 9, 1968. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy, member of Gribble Springs Baptist Church and a well driller for J. L. Myers Co.
Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Wilson of Aubrey and Jane Ann Graham of Denton; one step daughter, Dorothy Beaumont of Denton; four step sons, SFC H. R. Shockey, Jr. and SSG Martin E. Shockey, both of Berlin, Germany and James and Paul Shockey, both of Denton; one sister, Lorene Hollandsworth of Garland; one brother, H. K. Graham of Sherman; one granddaughter, Brenda Joyce Wilson and eight step grandchildren.
