Actor, Songwriter. He played in small roles, often uncredited, in a number of motion pictures before he was chosen to be the host and emcee of the Walt Disney Production children’s variety show “The Mickey Mouse Club”, which appeared in from 1955 to 1959. On the show he was the leader of “The Mouseketeers”, as well as the composer of the show's theme song “The Mickey Mouse Club March”.
