Harriette Hardman, 83, who was known as "The Honey Lady," died of natural causes July 11, 1998, at her Klamath Falls residence.

She was born in Klamath Falls to Lydia (Rowberry) Bushong. She attended Plevna School in Keno and Fairhaven Elementary School before graduating from Klamath Union High School.

She and her husband, Orland Arlie Hardman, kept bees and sold honey. She was known as "The Honey Lady." She also was known for her gladiola flowers.

Mrs. Hardman was a grange member, and attended Bible Baptist Church until 1992, then Shasta Way Christian Church until her death.

Survivors include her granddaughters, Stella Peterson and Kimberly Soto, both of Livermore, Calif., Carolyn Peterson of Oakdale, Calif., and Vicki Skidmore of Lathrop, Calif.; great-grandchildren, Jonathan and Megan Webster, Devon and Nicole Skidmore, and Paul and Christina Soto, and numerous other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her children, and her brothers and sisters.
