Obituary taken from the Beloit Daily News, Beloit, WI dated February 26, 1926

CHARLES C. GREENE DIES IN CHICAGO
Charles Clough Greene, 44 years old, a business man in Beloit for several years, and a resident of Chicago for the past 30 years, died at his Chicago home yesterday morning. Death was caused by a stroke of paralysis.
Mr. Greene was a native of this city, and was in the grocery and crockery business until he went to Chicago, where he had made his home since. He was married in Chicago, October 3, 1901.
Only relatives are a brother, Edgar S. Greene, and a sister, Miss Helen M. Greene, both of this city. Edgar Greene, the brother, was in Florida at the time of his brother's death but has been notified and is to be here for the funeral services which will be held at 10:30 Saturday morning at the Rosman-Kinzer chapel. The Rev. E. J. Evans will officiate, and burial will be made in Oakwood cemetery.
