son of Sylvia Maria Church and Lorenzo Dow Card, married Rosaltha Estella Beldin, children: Coral Mildred, Nathan Eugene, Albert Wilmer, Jessie Mariah, Lilly May, Lavinia Irene, Earl F, Walter Clare, Etta Myrle, Lena Audrey, Elva Rosalind.

The Mesdames Heber and Porter Clark received word Tuesday morning of the death of their father D.W. Card at Salt Lake from influenza and complications following. Mr Card would have been seventy years old next March. He came to Wyoming in 1868 with the New York regiment guarding the Union Pacific railroad in its building. He served in several Indian skirmishes just prior to the Custer war. Released from the service Mr Card engaged in the livery business in the city of Cheyenne. After ten years in Wyoming he returned east where he married and settled in Pennsylvania and raised a family of eleven children.
Twenty five years ago they met the Elders of the L.D.S. church and accepted the Gospel. In 1909 they came to Idaho where they removed to Bountiful Utah. a son Earl well known in Star Valley is with the Utah Artillery in France.

Daniel is the 8th Great Grandson of Mayflower Pilgrim Elder William Brewster and of many European royalty such as the 17th Great Grandson of Edward 1 "Longshanks" Plantagenet, King of England.
