Services for Fannie Mae Prestridge Adams, of Brookhaven, will beheld at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 13, at Brookhaven Funeral Home on North Jackson Street with burial in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Tuesday from 5 until 10 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Adams, 87, died Feb. 10, 2008, at King’s Daughters Medical Center. She was born in Lincoln County on Aug. 6, 1920, to Robert Jenkins and Sally Buitt Jenkins.

She was retired. She was a member of Moak’s Creek Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husbands, John A. Prestridge Sr. and John Quincy Adams Sr.; three brothers; and three sisters.

Survivors are her son, John A. Prestridge Jr. and wife Margaret Jane, of New Hebron; her daughters, Marlene Hall Bales and Johnnie Faye Coone, both of Bogue Chitto; her 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
