PLYMOUTH Howard J.Tripp Sr., of Plymouth, 67, died on March 18th, at the New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton. Husband to the late Janet A. (Hartley) Tripp, he is survived by his four sons James M, 44 of Daytona Beach, FL; Howard J. Jr, 43, of Plymouth, John W, 41, of Crossville, TN, and Christopher P, 37, of Plymouth; he also leaves 8 grandchildren. Mr. Tripp worked for Tech-Etch in the maintenance dept. and he worked for the Plymouth DPW for 15 years, as caretaker of the Manomet Landfill. He was a former member of the Knights of Columbus and enjoyed camping, fishing and bowling. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Peters Church in Plymouth on Thursday, March 26 at 10:00 AM, followed by burial at Vine Hills Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court St., (Rte3A) N. Plymouth, on Wednesday March 25, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the American Lung Association of MA, 460 Totten Pond Road, Suite 400, Waltham, MA 02451.
