Suzanne Yvonne Powell, 75, of Fairmount, passed away Friday at Crouse Hospital surrounded by family and friends. Born in Jordan, she was a lifetime resident of the Camillus area and a 1951 graduate of Central High School, whom she represented in Seventeen magazine. Suzanne was a 43-year employee with Crucible Steel Corp., retiring in 1996. Surviving are her son, Michael (Carey) Hutchins of Fairmount; sister, Patricia (James) Mooney of Camillus; nephew, Scott (Renee) Mooney of Baldwinsville; great-nephew, Brett; and great-niece, Corinne. Services will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Relatives and friends may call 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Suzanne will be laid to rest in Oakwood Cemetery.
