Carlock, Morris Burton
86 of Chandler, AZ, passed away on March 18, 2009. Orphaned at age 12 Morris went to live in Owensboro, KY with his sister. At Owensboro High School he met Patricia Isabel Troutman. They married after graduation and he joined the Army Air Corp in 1943 As a sergeant he was a machine gun expert and pistol marksman who trained officers to shoot. After being discharged from the military Morris and Pat moved to Phx. He was hired by APS woring in the Gas Dept. He retired after 38 yrs. of service. Morris served as a deacon starting in 1948 at First Southern Baptist Church of Phx., in 1955 at Eastside Baptist Church of Phx., in 1967 at N. Phx. Baptist Church and in 1993 at Corona Baptist Church in Chandler. Morris and Pat joined Southeast Valley Baptist Church of Gilbert in 2005. He is survived by his wife of 67 yrs. Patricia, daughter, Camille(Robert) DeVane; grandchildren John Edward and Robert Stephen DeVane, Travis Shawn Munson and Lisa Munson Crews; great grandchildren Faith Munson Crews, Grace Colleen DeVane, Mercy Munson Crews, Patricia Camille DeVane, Nash Randolph Munson and Hope Eom Crews all of Chandler.
