Brett A. Ford, 50, passed away the morning of March 20, 2009, due to an extended illness.

Brett was born Oct. 20, 1958, in Noblesville, the son of Bob and Dorothy Ford.

On Aug. 30, 1980, he married Karen S. Jones; both had grown up in Pendleton. They raised three children.

Brett retired from General Motors after 15 years of service.

He was a member of the American Pool Association. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed playing pool, cooking, camping, mushroom hunting and archery, hunting deer and other outdoor activities.

Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Karen (Jones) Ford: children, Brian, Dusty and Alicia (son-in-law Chad Stevens); grandchildren, Alivia and Aubrey; parents, Dorothy (Fulk) Ford and Robert Ford; sister, Diana Mayer; two brothers, Mike (wife, Sharon) Ford and Gary (wife, Kathy) Ford; and several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
