The 1909 HUFFORD FAMILY HISTORY, at page 45, lists that Solomon HUFFORD and Christina NUDING had a daughter who died as an infant and whose body was interred in Hoffert Cemetery, in Hocking Co., Ohio. The child is listed only as "infant daughter." She is listed as the 6th born child, born between children born in 1853 and 1856.

The cemetery that was called "Hoffert Cemetery" in 1909 has been called "Ruff Cemetery" since at least 1976.

An internment list prepared by a genealogist in that county over 20 years ago lists a grave stone for an infant, child of Solomon and Cristina HUFFERT. The list reports that the child died Feb. 13, 1855, at three days old.
