Services for Fred J. Koch, 83, retired vice president and trust officer of Northern Trust company, will be held today in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where he died yesterday.
The seven-acre Koch estate at Deerpath avenue and Green Bay road in Lake Forest was converted to a community recreation center in 1947 when Mr. Koch moved to Colorado with his wife, the former Gwendolyn Young Heyworth, granddaughter of Otto Young, early Chicago merchant.
Surviving are his widow; two daughters, Mrs. Laura Vaughs and Mrs. Winifred Fernandez; a brother; and a sister.
