Mrs. Eliza Schafer, 85, formerly of 410 Lorain boulevard, died at Lorain Convalescent Home Friday at 4:45 p.m., following an illness of four years.
Mrs. Schafer was born in Brownhelm, Ohio, August 25, 1866 [sic: August 29, 1869], and lived in Lorain county and vicinity for 31 years. She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical and Reformed Church. Surviving her are one son, Edward Schafer, and one grand-daughter, Miss Evelyn Schafer, both of Elyria.
The Rev. Ernst Irion will officiate at funeral services to be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Sudro-Curtis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Brownhelm Cemetery and friends may call at the Sudro-Curtis Funeral Home.
