Gertrude "Fay" Horvatin, 89, a resident of Weatherby Lake, Missouri, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2012 at NorthCare Hospice House. Fay was born July 6, 1922 to Alfred and Edna (Wisdom) Pemberton in Columbus, Kansas. Fay was united in marriage to Nicholas M Horvatin, Sr on April 25, 1942 in Kansas City, Kansas.
Fay was preceded in death by her parents and husband, three brothers: Frank Pemberton, Gene Pemberton, and Robert Pemberton, two sisters, Elsie Tye and Marge Parker. She is survived by her two sons, Nicholas M "Mike" Horvatin and wife, Terry of St James, Missouri and Fred M Horvatin of Weatherby Lake, Missouri; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Audry Wilson of Kansas City, Missouri and Dorothy Scovill of Humboldt, Kansas.
