Born in Anderson, NJ she was a daughter of the late Robert and Ida Smith Hendershot.
She was member of Washington Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include three sisters, Miss Ruth Hendershot and Mrs. Althea Mosteller, both of Washington, and Mrs. Dorothy Fox, Oxford; four brothers, George, Hampton; Manches, Whitehouse; Jacob, Easton, and Robert, Washington.
