Carol Camp, 78, of Chillicothe, formerly of Bartonville, passed away on December 22, 2020, at Heartland Health Care Center in Henry, IL.
Carol was born on October 5, 1942, in Peoria, IL, to John and Mary Walz. She married LaVern Camp on October 8, 1964. He preceded her in death on July 29, 2010. Also preceding her in death were her parents and two sisters, Colleen DeArcos and Angela Leach.
Surviving are three sons, Daniel (Kimberly) of Chillicothe, Michael of Peoria and Joey (Jamie) of Germantown Hills; and seven grandchildren, Jodi, Abigail, Taylor, Isabella, Dylan, Jonathon and Charlotte.
She was primarily a homemaker who enjoyed supporting her children in their endeavors, and later in life, she loved going to her grandchildren's sporting events. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Brimfield.
A private family service will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Brimfield, with the Rev. Michael Liese officiating. Burial will be at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery.
