WENATCHEE - Agnes Viola McAllister, 88, a longtime resident of Wenatchee, died early Sunday morning, Oct. 2, 1994, in Central Washington Hospital.
She was born Oct. 27, 1905, near Eureka, Calif., the first child to John and Adelle (Miranda) Bellatti. She graduated from Round Valley High School at the age of 16 and completed a business and accounting course at Eureka Business College at the age of 18. She moved to Wenatchee in 1929, where she worked for the Wenatchee Produce Co.
She married George William McAllister on Aug. 1, 1938, in Wenatchee. She continued to work at the Dennison Co. She later was an accountant for the Elks Club, George F. Miller Fruit Co., Reagan Electric and the Department of Social and Health Services, retiring in the early 1970s.
Mrs. McAllister was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, the Altar Society and Catholic Daughters of the Americas, which she served as an officer. She also was a volunteer for the American Red Cross, Central Washington Hospital Gift Shop and for numerous blood drives.
Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Dean (Sylvia) Robison, Spangle; one sister, Alice Clark, Vacaville, Calif.; two grandsons; and one great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband this August, two brothers and one sister.
