Mr Turner taught elementary school in the Washington County, Alabama School District. He was a native of Vinegar Bend and resident of Deer Park. Survivors include his mother, Fredna Turner of Deer Park; his wife, Julia Ann Turner of Chickasaw; one son, Perry Turner II of Mobile; two daughters, Betsy Chandler of Nashville, Tennessee., and Angela Turner of Mobile; one brother, George Turner of Mobile; one sister, Linda Turner of Deer Park; and two grandchildren.
