Willia J. Hickerson, age 73 of Nash, TX, died Saturday, March 14, 2009 in a Tyler Texas hospital.
Mrs. Hickerson was born April 17, 1935 in Fouke, AR. She was retired from RRAD and was a member of the Village Community Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and by a son, Steven Lynn Hickerson.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Hickerson of Nash, TX, one daughter, Lynn Hickerson of Texarkana, TX, three grandsons and their wives, Kenny and Mandy Hickerson of DeKalb, TX, Tim and Stephanie Hickerson of Hooks, TX and Todd Hickerson of New Boston, TX; four great-grandchildren; two sisters a brother-in-law, Annie Cook of Texarkana, AR and Margaret and Bob Pritchard of Brownwood, TX; three brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Carolyn Taylor of Doddridge, AR, Ira and Jo Taylor of Atkins, AR, Charles and Elizabeth Taylor of Texarkana, AR; and several nieces and nephews.
Services for Mrs. Hickerson will be Tuesday at 2 PM at Chapelwood Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Taylor and Rev. Ira Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens.
