Mr. Kevin Joseph Lancaster, 44, of Kanawha City passed away March 16, 2009, at the University of Pittsburgh Hospital.

Kevin was a master beautician in the Charleston area most of his life and was a Catholic.

He is survived by his parents, John and Ann Lancaster of Kanawha City; maternal grandmother, Marian Edelman of Kanawha City; brother, John and wife, Joyce Lancaster, of Richmond, Va.; sisters, Joan and husband, Dan Williams, and Elaine and husband, Bill Willis, all of Kanawha City; and six nieces and nephews, Tim Lancaster, Scott Lancaster and Rachel Lancaster, all of Richmond, Va., and Emily Adkins, Patrick Spradling and Riley Williams, all of Kanawha City. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 21, at St. Agnes Catholic Church with Father John McDonough officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, South Charleston.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Harding Funerals & Cremations, Kanawha City, with a Christian wake service at 7:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Common Grounds, a food pantry sponsored by St. Agnes Catholic Church, Morris Memorial United Methodist Church and Village Chapel Presbyterian Church. Please mail donations to St. Agnes Catholic Church, Common Grounds Fund, 4807 Staunton Ave. SE, Charleston, WV 25304.
