He also served on occasion as bodyguard to the late Gov Huey P Long and served 30 years in various law enforcement positions in St Charles Parish, Louisiana. He was the husband of Vivian Cambre, father of Charles Perilloux Sr of Baton Rouge, Shirley Vessier and Emmett Perilloux of Montz, Anna Belle Fourroux and Coleen Landry of Metairie, Louisiana, Reed Perilloux of Colfax, Louisiana, and J Sheldon Perilloux of Norco, Louisiana. Services were Thursday 15 Sep 1977 at St Joan of Arc Church, Laplace, Louisiana, with interment in St Peter Cemetery, Reserve, Louisiana.
