OGDEN - Everett Vernon Neiswender, 89, died March 18, 2009, in Ogden, Utah. He was born October 28, 1919 in Montpelier, Idaho the son of Joseph and Jeanette VanOrman Neiswender. He married Evelyn Olive Krog on September 1, 1942 in Reno, Nevada. They were married for 65 years. They lived in Utah for 46 years, the last 35 in Ogden.

Everett was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Everett was a member of the Army Air Corp/Air Force. He was a veteran of World War II and was a recipient of the World War II Victory Medal and the good conduct medal.

He is survived by his children, Carolyn Sarson (Wheeler), Dennis Neiswender (Candy), Dave Neiswender, Vynette Peterson, Joann Hacklemen, Craig Neiswender (Karen), Lisa Keeter (Todd), Joel Neiswender (Lisa) and John Neiswender (Andrea); 23 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, brother, and a son.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 25, 2009, at 11 a.m. at the Washington Terrace 5th Ward, 350 W. 5100 S. Friends and family may call at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden, on Tuesday, March 24th from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday at the church from 9:45-10:45 a.m.

Interment will be at Myers Evergreen Memorial Park.
