January 19, 1946 - May 11, 2008

Dennis Sims, 62 of Conway, passed away on May 11, 2008. He was born in Conway on January 19, 1946 and was a son of the late Martin Arthur "Boss" Sims and Opal Christine (Sample) Sims.

He was a retired chrome-plating supervisor of Virco Manufacturing Corporation in Conway.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of thirty-five years, Mary Joyce (Campbell) Sims; a brother, John Edward Sims, and a grandson, Drew Austin Green.

Survivors are three daughters, Lori "Dede" (Don) Green, Terri (Derek) Deaton, Kelli (David) Moix; all of Conway; two sisters, Pat (Emitt) Johnson of Quitman and Faye (Tommy) Glover of Conway; and five grandchildren; Alison Harper, David Allen, Nicholas Moix, Bailey Deaton, and Nathan Moix, of Conway.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 in the chapel at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Interment will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Wooster with Leon Ryan, Danny Milburn, Charles Carter, Brent Nichols, Steve Gilbert, and Jimmy Marshall serving as pallbearers.
