Lamar Thomas was born in Anderson County, Tenn., June 15, 1836. He married Sally Lamar in 1862 and died Mar. 18, 1882 at Rogers, Benton County, Ark., where he had gone for his health. He was brought to Lamar Station, Nodaway County, Missouri for burial in family graveyard.
