Funeral for Opal Aileen McCleskey, 77, of Decatur will be Friday, March 20, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Oak Grove Church with the Rev. Shane Williams officiating and Parkway Funeral Home directing. The body will be at the church one hour prior to the service.
Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the church.
Mrs. McCleskey died Wednesday, March 18, 2009, at Parkway Medical Center.
She was born July 11, 1931, in Lawrence County to Raymond and Anna Roy. She was a retired factory worker. Her husband, James Travis McCleskey, preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, Billy Wayne McCleskey and his wife, Peggy, and Larry Travis McCleskey; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
