Ella R. Hougendobler, 73, of 801 Columbia Ave., died Friday at Lancaster General Hospital after a long illness. She was the wife of the late William H. Hougendobler, who died April 1990. Mrs. Hougendobler was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity. Born in Lancaster, she was a daughter of the late David A. and Clara Ruth Rintz. Surviving are three sons: James B. and Timothy L., both of Lancaster; and William H. Jr., Johnstown; five grandchildren; two sisters, Sadie Hoover, Lancaster, and Esther Martzal, Manheim
