She was born on April 28, 1908 near Hot Springs, AR to the late Will and Mattie Bright. She grew up in Arkansas and spent a short time in Texas. In April of 1938, she moved to Brewster and in 1960 to Okanogan. Annie married John McClellan in Malvern, AR on Oct. 6, 1929.
She was a member of the Faith Missionary Baptist Church in Okanogan. Also Annie held offices in the Grange and the Rebekah Lodges.
Annie's life was her family. She enjoyed crocheting, fishing and raising honey bees.
Survivors include her children, Kathy Mackie of Malott, Christine Taylor of Olympia, Bill McClellan of Omak and Gene McClellan of Vancouver; a sister, Glenna Myrick of Hot Springs, AR; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Annie was preceded in death by her husband, John, a son, Dwayne "Red," two brothers and two sisters.
Services for Annie M. McClellan will be held on Friday, Sept. 3, 1999 at 11 a.m. at the Barnes Chapel with Alex Pfitzer officiating. Interment will be held at the Okanogan Valley Memorial Gardens.
Memorials can be given to the Home Health or Hospice.
