Tammy McGuire Hurt, 36, of Russellville died Sunday, March 8, 2009 at the Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn.
She was born in Logan County Sept. 28, 1972, a daughter of Nancy Armour Page of Russellville and the late Walter Page.
Mrs. Hurt was a receptionist for Dr. Karen Northern and was a Baptist by faith.
Funeral services were held Thursday, March 12 at Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel with Brother Bobby Forshee officiating. Burial followed in the Berea Cemetery.
Pallbearers were, J.T. Richardson, Dylan Hurt, Mike Way, Billy Hightower, Tommy Alexander and Bob Taylor.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Tommy Hurt of Russellville; her daughter, Nikki Lee McGuire of Russellville; her step-son, Dylan Hurt of Russellville; her step-daughters, Kaylyn and Haley Hurt both of Clarksville, Tenn.; her sister, Lisa Way of Russellville; her nephews, Brent Page and Christopher Way both of Russellville; and her niece, Melinda Way of Russellville.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Nikki McGuire Fund.
