Billy Joe Bowling, 45, of Robbins, Tenn., died October 4, 1997, at his residence. Born in Scott County, Tenn., September 21, 1952, she was the son of the late Frankie and Elva Bowling. In addition to his parents, he was preceded also in death by one son, Cody Joe Bowling; and two brothers, Teddy and Tommy Bowling. He is survived by Joann Bowling; three sisters: Jessie Crozier and husband, Ken of Charleston, Tenn., Wilma Mills and husband, Troy of Spring City, Tenn., and Alice Davis of Chatsworth, Ga.; two brothers, Paul Bowling and wife, Linda of Spring City, Tenn., and Jimmy Bowling and wife, Loretta of Chatsworth, Ga.; one uncle, George Bowling and wife, Lillian of Robbins; one aunt, Nora Bowling of Robbins, several nieces, nephews, and many other relatives. Funeral services were conducted October 7, 1997, at West Robbins Baptist Church with Rev. Richard Kimbrell officiating. Interment followed at Concord Cemetery. West-Murley Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
