Curtis G. Freeman, 71, of Adrian died Wednesday at his home following a brief illness. Born Jan. 20, 1936, in Adrian, he was the son of Clarence and Rosanna Lasher Freeman. He was a truck driver for Freeman Trucking for 50 years. He was also known as "Ashman" by his trucker friends. Mr. Freeman enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren and his little Poodle, Wee Bear. Surviving are his wife, Margaret Freeman of 44 years; two daughters, Theresa Bowser of Adrian and Angela Haye of Karns City; a brother, Emery B. Freeman of Adrian; a sister, Betty Wolff of Butler; a father-in-law; four nieces; four nephews; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and mother-in-law. Freeman - Friends of Curtis G. Freeman, who died Wednesday, June 20, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today and Friday at the SNYder-crissman funeral home in Cowansville. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with his father-in-law, the Rev. Richard W. McCanna, officiating. Burial will follow in the Limestone Cemetery.
