Mr. Bowman, was born in Missouri May 20, 1853, lived in Safford for a number of years before going to San Carlos and Coolidge Dam to live with his children about 12 years ago.
He had been in poor health for several years. His condition became worse gradually and Sunday he was brought to the hospital in a Jones ambulance.
Surviving are the widow, Susan E. Bowman; five sons, ed Bowman of Coolidge Dam; Richard Bowman of Stanley; two daughters, Mrs. Della Krone of Lanes Prairie, Mo. and Mrs. Vernon Campbell of San Carlos and ten grandchildren.
Burial was in the new Globe cemetery.
