Word has been received of the death of Herman Whiteman, 41, at Phoenix, Arizona, Saturday night.
Mr. Whiteman was a former resident of Topeka living here about ten years ago. He had been ill for more than a year.
He is survived by his widow, four children, Ferris, Phyllis, Barbara, and Morris: his mother, Mrs. E.E. Whiteman, of Silver Lake; two sisters, Mrs. L. M. Monasmith, of Phoenix, and Mrs. H.C. Alexander, of Topeka; and three brothers Ed Whiteman, of Phoenix; Fred Whiteman, of Topeka, and Tom Whiteman, of Silver Lake.
Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
