Edgar Morris Pigott was the 2nd of four sons born to Edgar Pigott (1880-1967) and Elsie Reeves Pigott (1889-1951). He was born in Wakulla County, Florida and lived there all his life until he enlisted in the US Army in 1941.
He served as Private 1st Class in the Army Corps of Engineers 803 Aviation Battalion in the Southwest Pacific theater. Edgar Morris Pigott died as a prisoner on 16 Dec 1942 in the Japanese POW camp of Hoten, Manchuria.
He was survived by his parents, Edgar and Nannie Pigott; and brothers, Clinton Vasco Pigott, James Vanburen Pigott and Willie Clois Pigott.
