Mrs. Grice died at 9:30 p.m. Thursday, May 19, 1966 in a Winnfield nursing home after a lengthy illness. She was a native of Winn Parish and a member of the East Winnfield Baptist Church at Joyce.
Survivors are her husband, A. E. Grice of Joyce; four sons, James E. Grice of Randallstown, Md., Rev. W. C. Grice of Winnfield, Arthur J. Grice of Dallas, Tex., and Bobby H. Grice of Texas City, Texas; three daughters, Mrs. Pearl Henderson of Oak Ridge, Ore., Mrs. Mildred G. Heflin of Joyce, and Mrs. Eleanor G. Prescott of Texas City, Tex.; two brothers, Riley and Ross Speed, both of Ferriday; three sisters, Mrs. Minnie S. Cantrell of Winnfield, Mrs. Sadie Sheets of Monroe, and Mrs. Ethel Fuller of Ferriday; 28 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
