Jerry Adams Dies Wednesday Morning Following Long Illness.
Two well-known residents, both former businessmen, died in Lititz this week.
They were Frank Rader, who for many years conducted a cigar store in the first block of East Main Street, who died Sunday morning, and Jerry K. Adams, who for twenty-nine years conducted the Oldsmobile agency and a grocery store at Lincoln Avenue and Cedar Street.

Services will be held Saturday for Jerry K. Adams, who died Wednesday morning at the Lancaster General Hospital, following an illness of a year and a half duration. He was sixty-four years of age.
Services will be held from Spacht’s at 1:30 p.m. and from the Trinity E. C. Church at 2 p.m. with interment in the Macpelah Cemetery. He was an active member of the Trinity E. C. Church.
Mr. Adams was born at Farmersville, but lived most of his life in this borough. His business was I so well known that its site has long been known as “Adams’ Corner”. His automobile dealership dates back to the very earliest days of the horseless wagons and he sold hundreds of cars to local motorists.
Although ill for a long time, he spent "only two days in the hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Bessie Engle Adams, and the following children: Irene, wife of John V. Ross; Grace, wife of Walter A. Landis; Viola, wife of . . . . . .
