Kay Barnes Kramer, 51, of Rosie died Saturday, March 14, 2009 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock.
She was born September 7, 1957 in Waurika, Oklahoma, the daughter of Harley Junior Barnes and Rubye Waters Barnes.
She graduated from Southside High School in 1975 and married Steve Kramer, January 23, 1976. She was employed several years at Suddenlink. She was not afraid to tackle any project, including home improvements. She was especially proud of her granddaughter. She was a member of Rosie Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Steve Kramer of Rosie; a son, Statler Kramer of Fayetteville; a daughter, Ashley Jackson and husband, Bradley of Conway; a granddaughter, Kinley Marie Jackson of Conway; a brother, Roger Barnes of Shelby, North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at Rosie Baptist Church.
Burial will be at Egner Cemetery in Salado under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.
Pallbearers are Gary Burt, Richard Matheny, Terry Howard, Chester Waters, David Waters, and Lester Waters.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, 2009.
The family has requested memorials be made to Southside High School Alumni Association, c/o Ginger Massey, 70 Scott Drive, Batesville, AR 72501
