Obituary: A full military service for Jess Wilson, 74, Logansport, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Legion Circle at Mount Hope Cemetery. He died at 10:45 p.m. Monday, Nov. 20, 2006, in Millers Merry Manor. Born Dec. 19, 1931, in Harlan, Ky, he was the son of Albert and Evelyn Houston Wilson. Mr. Wilson had been employed as a bricklayer and hod carrier through the local union. A U.S. Army veteran, he served in the Korean War. He was a life member of both the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3790 and American Legion Post 60. Members of the military detail of the Cass County Veterans Service Council will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Legion Circle at Mount Hope Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
