Flora Sturdivant Rites Thursday
Mrs. Flora Ellen Sturdivant, 81, who lived here until 11 years ago, died at 4 a.m. Tuesday at her home, route 5, Elkhart.
Born in Boone county July 1, 1879, she was married to Kanes Sturdivant, who died in 1938.
Survivors are two daughters and two sons: Mrs. Cora Howard, Elkhart; Mrs. Carrie Rance, of this city; William A., and
Alva, both of this city; 45 grandchildren and 110 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Walley funeral home, 126 S. Second street, Elkhart. Rites will be held there at 10 a.m., Thursday.
At 12:30 p.m. Thursday graveside services will be held in Mt. Hope cemetery, this city, with the Chase-Miller funeral home in charge of arrangements.
