William Dewey Snoke, 63, of 316 1/2 E. Melbourne, died Monday at the Veterans hospital, Indianapolis. He had been ill about two weeks.
A plumber he was a World War I veteran.
Born August 5, 1898, in Peru, he was the son of William and Mary Fodge Snoke.
Survivors are two daughters; Mrs. Mary Quillen, route 4; Mrs. Betty Boyer, city; one step-daughter, Mrs. Melba Grantham, city; six grandchildren; one sister and two brothers; Mrs. Georgia Smith, city; Henry Snoke, Goshen; Fred Snoke, Lebanon; several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the McCloskey-Hamilton-Kahle funeral home after seven o'clock this evening.
Final rites will be at the funeral home at two o'clock Thursday. The Reverend Richard Way will officiate and burial will be in Mt. Hope cemetery.
