Funeral services for John Lacasse, 76, of 3211 Warren St, will be at 1 p.m. today, Dec 24 from St. Margaret Catholic Church. The Rev. Steve Conner will officiate. Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery under direction of Hixon Funeral Home.
Mr. Lacasse died at 4:30 a.m. Sunday at his residence.
A native of Mowata, he was a heavy equipment operator for Cities Service.where he retired in1972. He was a member of St. Margaret's Knights of Columbus 3208.
Survivors invlude his wife, Mrs. Ludie (Daigle) Lacasse; two daughters, Mrs. Eddie (Nelwin) Richard of Lake Charles and Mrs. Larry (Janet) Doucet of Baton Rouge; one son, Luther Lacasse of Houston; one brother, George Lacasse of Lake Charles; five sisters, Mrs. Ella Doucet, Mrs. Armenia Gaspard and Mrs. Bernadine (Lacasse) Bergeron, all of Lake Charles, Mrs. Ernestine (Lacasse) Bergeron of Eunice and Mrs. Lelia Robin of Maplewood, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
