The son of the late Carl and Lavada Sanderford Roe, Paul was born Feb. 17, 1943, in Ardmore and passed away Monday morning in a local hospital. He and the former Lavada Elkins were married Sept. 3, 1977, in Ardmore.
Paul served in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged July 1966. He worked for Ardmore Plumbing Supply and retired after 36 years of service.
Survivors include his wife of the home; son Curtis Massey and wife Renee of Azle, Texas; three daughters, Rhonda Massey and husband Chuck of Moore, Okla., Kristi Scott and husband Bryan of Lone Grove and Kerri Cryer and husband Greg of Ardmore; two sisters, Mary Schweikhart and Carolyn Kelty both of Ardmore; a brother, Jerry of Davis; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and son Vernon "Butch" Massey.
Serving as bearers will be Aaron and Taylor Scott, Dakota Cryer, Marty Hauthier, Matt McAnally and Ron Bolton. Honorary bearers will be Kenneth Ecker and Hank Banks.
A time of visitation and support will be held tonight from 6 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
