OTTAWA - Mrs. Hattie V. McDaniel,86,Ottawa, died Thursday at an Ottawa nursing home. She was born September 16, 1884, in Miami County and was a longtime resident of the Rantoul community and of Ottawa.
Mrs. McDaniel was a former member of the United Brethren Church in Franklin county.

She was preceded in death by three husbands, Charlie Graves, Martin Shively, and Charlie C. McDaniel. Mr. McDaniel died March 21,1961.

Survivors include 2 stepdaughters, Mrs. Marie Barber, Reno, Nev., and Mrs. Leona Garrett,Ottawa; several nieces and nephews including Mrs. Charles Carey, Sr., Mrs. W.S. Lehew, Leonard White and Frank McKoon,all of Ottawa.

Services will be Saturday at the Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home with burial in Stanton Cemetery east of Rantoul.
