Hilda A. Kemp
Hilda A. Kemp, 75, of 11488 Marshall Road, West Manchester, died Friday, Aug. 27, at Grandview Hospital in Dayton.
Born Nov. 19, 1917, in West Manchester, she was the daughter of Esta M. and Onda Marie (Sink) House and had lived in the West Manchester area all her life. She was a member of Castine United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Charles E. Kemp; three sons and daughter-in-law, Chuck Duane and Roberta Kemp of Dayton, Richard E. and Sue Kemp of Arcanum, Keith L. and Betty Kemp of West Manchester; seven grandchildren, Scott Kemp, Steve Kemp, Jeff Kemp, Rich Kemp, Jackie Kemp, Chad Kemp and Travis Kemp; six great-grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Lois L. and Conley Wright of West Manchester; a sister-in-law, Kathryn House of Eaton; nieces and nephews.
A brother, Harold House, is deceased.
Funeral services were Monday, Aug. 30, at Girton-Schmidt-Boucher Funeral Home, with the Rev. Phyllis K. Schlicher officiating. Burial was in Castine Cemetery.
