Susann (Sue) M. Skinner, 63, of Batavia, OH, and formerly of Eldorado, Ohio beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and co-worker, died February 21, 2006 after a year-long battle with kidney cancer. Sue was a ten-year employee of Ohio Heart and Vascular Center in Montgomery, OH and worked most of her adult life as a medical transcriptionist. Her dedication to the medical field was exhibited in her last selfless act of donating her body to The Medical University of Ohio at Toledo "in the hope that they will learn something useful in the treatment of kidney cancer." Sue was an active hobbyist over the years, devoting any spare time to stained glass, cross stitching, and her final and favorite quilting.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Garry N. Skinner of Batavia, her son Scott N. Skinner of Brighton, MI, daughter Laura S. Skinner of Batavia, mother Antoinette Smith of Columbus, OH, and brother Raymond Michael (Mike) Smith of Cumming, GA. Sue also leaves behind three loving grandchildren: Megan A. Skinner, 12, Steven K. May, 10, and Sarah G. Skinner, 9. She was preceded in death by her son Brian Skinner and Father Raymond E. Smith.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 11, 2006 @ Good Shepard Lutheran Church, 7701 Kenwood Rd. (@ Montgomery Rd.), Cincinnati, OH 45236 at 1:30 p.m. Memorial gifts in lieu of flowers should be made to Zion Lutheran Church, 22 N. Second St., Waterville, OH 43566.

Arrangements entrusted to the Bussard-Barnes-Vaniman Funeral Home, 311 N. Main Street, Eldorado, Ohio. Condolences may be sent to the family via the guest book at www.barnesfuneralhome.com
